Shop Affiliate Program Policy
This policy explains how the CheriLandia Craft Hobby Club Shop affiliate program works for members who share product links from our Shop. It is separate from the member rewards program (points on your own purchases) and from the ambassador program for membership referrals.
1. Eligibility
- The Shop affiliate program is open to members with an active club membership.
- Each member can create sharing links for products listed in the Shop from their account.
- Links are personal to you. Do not share your account or misrepresent the club, products, or prices when promoting links.
- When sharing affiliate links, you must disclose that you may earn a commission (for example, #ad or "affiliate link"), as required by advertising rules.
2. How attribution works
- A purchase is attributed to you when a customer arrives through your sharing link and completes a purchase of the linked Shop product.
- Commission applies to purchases made by other people through your link — never to your own purchases. Your own purchases earn member reward points instead.
- Only verified purchases count. A click, cart addition, or unpaid order does not earn a commission.
- Attribution requires the purchase to be verified against the shop's order records. Purchases that cannot be verified are not eligible.
3. Commission rate
- The commission rate is 5% on verified referred product purchases. Your current individual or group offer may override this general standard.
- Commission is calculated on the product amount, excluding shipping, taxes, and discounts.
- The club owner may change the commission rate for future purchases; already-recorded commissions are not reduced retroactively.
4. Refunds and cancellations
- If an attributed order is refunded or canceled, the related commission is reversed — in full for a full refund, or proportionally for a partial refund.
- If a payout was already sent for an order that is later refunded, the reversed amount may be deducted from future commission earnings.
- Reward points from a member's own purchase are also reversed when that purchase is refunded or canceled.
5. Commission payouts
- Commissions are reviewed and approved by the club owner before payout.
- Approved commissions are paid via PayPal and recorded in your earnings history.
- Approved commissions are paid out weekly. A minimum balance of $25 in approved commissions is required before a payout is sent; smaller balances roll over to the next week.
- You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes on your earnings.
6. Fair use
- Self-referrals, fake orders, or attempts to manipulate attribution are not allowed and may result in removal from the program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
- The owner may suspend or end a member's participation in the program for misuse.
